Birthday bumps are a traditional, often UK-based, birthday celebration where friends or family lift the birthday person by their arms and legs to bump them on the ground. They are usually given one bump for each year of their age, plus one for luck, sometimes totalling a “final” hit to celebrate surviving another year! Ouch!… we all remember those, if of course you were born before the 90’s.
Comes with glass dome cover, which we removed just for photography purposes in order to show you a better image of the sculptured artwork.
Wire – frame, mixed media (paper and plaster), rust oxidisation paint finish.
